It's what we always knew, it's so performative, they supposed to be out here acting like they did to all our towns.

ANY protests need to be disruptive! During the week, block traffic.. IDK look at how Italy and other European countries have reacted to injustice.

This is the hard truth: and I hope more sit in it. All we showed is that the system of anti-Blackness exists within left spaces, white fragility/avoidance/white comfort was on full display, still serving yt-supremacy. 😔 (from someone who worked directly on the campaign, through the initial No Kings organizing - too many white people where unwilling to get uncomfortable, to unpack their whiteness and actively address the core wound within us:the embedded racism).

Three percent of the population shows up. According to sociology that’s enough to change a society they do it every 3 months. More show. More and more and more. And we build on that. I’m not white. I’m a vet and ex cop. You serve son? Violence against violence is the patriarchal failure.

You’re wrong! Protests work it’s proven. Things don’t magically change after a protest. It creates more and more awareness and the more people that do it the more pressure it puts on the government. We can’t run up on the capital like the insurrectionists did because they would Gun us down on the spot. But if everyone would stop spending money the change would come quick and fast. But one thing you’re right about people don’t like to be uncomfortable.
