ive done it once, the buyer was really sweet and gave the impression they just needed to wait until payday. they reached out again a couple days later letting me know, they are still interested. and come the day they said they would buy it, they did. and gave a really nice review. so it just depends on how I'm feeling about the buyer.

I had a mom want a graduation cap and gown on Vinted and she said she couldn’t afford one. And I do remember it being expensive when my daughter graduated. So I just sold it to her for a dollar. She did end up coming back and buying more from me a few times. She still likes my items so I know she’s visiting my store.

Last week I had someone on eBay message saying that she would buy a shirt from on June 1st. Well when I woke up on June 1st I woke up to that sale which was awesome.

Absolutely NOT anymore. I have done it three times and two of those they gave me bad feedback for crap I couldn't control and one straight up lied. So I am not doing it at all anymore.

For me it depends on the item. If it's hot and I know it's going to sell quickly with 99% certainty, I won't hold it. If it's a mid item that has been sitting for a while in a holding pattern of its own, I'm happy to oblige. I've been doing holds on the supply end to save my resellers on shipping and it's proving to be challenging. I don't have the space to store them in and it's becoming difficult to keep up with the invoicing. I'm working on that issue this morning.

Yes. Someone on eBay asked if i would hold a vintage cape cod avon set for them until the following week. They promised to buy it. Not only did they buy it the following week when they said, they bought a vintage sweater as well. For sure every buyer isn’t like this, but it was worth doing.
