I hate it when that happens. They always say they will come when there's a gate change, and theyre supposed to come when boarding. They've never done that for me and I fly quite a lot 😭

That happened to me. Empty gate means wrong gate!!! Will never ever forget that lesson. But so glad you advocated for yourself and got on the flight! Well done you!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Birmingham assistance caused my partner and 8 other passengers needing assistance to miss their flight entirely! had to provide a taxi, hotel and flight next day from different airport!

You did amazing! One time I only had 20 minutes to layover in Minneapolis on the whole other side of the AirPort, RAN like my life depended on it made it to the gate 5 minutes before They stopped and They closed the gate before my nose, saying that They waited for me too much blah blah, Even though They knew I was coming, and very clearly said that it was my fucking fault🥀 I had a 9kg backpack and a 6kg Messenger bag that was making my arm numb and still ran. It was a flight to Europe. Had to wait like 5 hours for my next one in Minneapolis🥀

Happened with us at Luton and Gatwick but the staff said it's normal. They close the gate then board special assistance passengers but still worrying

once at baggage check-in, they said wait we'll call you. went to them multiple times until flight time is under 30 mins. still said wait. after flight left i went again and they said... oh ! now pls wait and when i was about to burst she laughed and said... we didn't forget, seats troubles and since you're alone we are placing you in another flight. 30 min later... they placed me in some international layover flight.

I had this at the Edinburgh airport and at the Budapest Airport too. It was so upsetting. I had to ask the ladies who helped people to scan passport to call someone because my gate is nearly closing. I was in tears.

I've only had one trip that I flew there and back on since being a wheelchair user and I was so thankful I was with my partner, I'd be terrified if this happened to me and I was on my own. I don't know how you do it
