When your hair was low porosity the oils sat on your hair and didn’t moisturize it because you didn’t open up your cuticles, low porosity hair needs heat to open up cuticles to absorb the moisture your putting in it and your cuticles will close naturally or you can use cool hair and it would’ve closed them.

I have high porosity but I have fine hair. I use grease and castor oil to seal but a stylist told me I shouldn’t?? My hair doesn’t feel weighed down. Ughhhh the natural journey is a long one 😭😂
