What use are Allah-given rights when men are controlling whether we have them or not. What that means is the Allah given rights women have, remains theoretical and aren’t being actualised when Muslim women actualise their rights they are abused and killed by misogynistic men and women.

I strongly believe in divine punishment and Allah swt judgement and power, but we can’t remain silent and bystanders to the oppression of women that is happening under men’s self-serving interpretations of Islam. It’s not like these men are just “not following correct Islam”, they are denying women’s rights and freedoms because they think it is the Islamic thing to do! My heart hurts for Muslim women who aren’t able to enjoy the freedom, education and quality of life I enjoy because of the rights a secular and Western society has given me. Allah has given me my life, my family, and my everything, but the Western country I have been born into allowed my family to leave war, allows me the CHOICE to wear hijab, to get a degree, to work, to drive, to choose my spouse. if you can’t see that it’s a problem that needs to be addressed by human beings in this dunya, and not just idly wait around for the afterlife whilst this suffering goes on, then I don’t know what else to say.

Most muslim girls me included have very bad experience with muslim men in charge..there is a reason that so many girls agree to her because its true. Her point was not that what God has given us is pointless, it os to state the fact that unless we take action OURSELVES and do something about it, the rights we have will remain in the shadows.
