From being on the verge of death to World Natural Bodybuilding Champion in one year In August 2024 I got hospitalized because I was really really sick. I ended up being diagnosed with severe pneumonia and I was in critical condition.  One morning, a different nurse came to give me the IV treatment and she did something wrong. I immediately felt a sharp pain across the veins in my right arm.  After a few days, I couldn’t move it at all, it got very swollen and turned purple. I got it checked and it seemed like that nurse’s mistake activated a Deep Vein Thrombosis in my right arm that was rapidly spreading in my body.  I got on anticoagulant treatment asap, I’ve been on it ever since and I have to continue to take it for the rest of my life, otherwise I might die. For 3 months I was not allowed to train at all to stop the DVT from spreading and I lost most of my size and mental health. Getting back in to the gym after all this time off was very hard. I was so small and weak compared to how I was before everything that had happened. I was at a very low point in my life, but I tried my best to keep going no matter what.  First couple of sessions were the hardest, but after that, I started regaining momentum. Muscle memory kicked in, my mental health was getting better, I was seeing improvements week after week. I got really motivated to bounce back even harder and I did, I reached the best version of myself and started prepping for WNBF Worlds.  After 1 year and 3 months, I overcame all obstacles and, in November 2025, I became WNBF Worlds Champion, won the WNBF Pro card and reached top 5 in the Pro class the next day.  The doctors told me I will never bodybuild again, turned out I proved them wrong…  #transformation #natty #bodybuilding #gym #fy
