I just don’t want to engage with capitalism anymore than I already have to. I’m happy with what I have and only want to be comfortable. That and the fact that I already know that my identity is more than what I own or consume because the self isn’t real anyway so having a unique sense of personal style/taste is still only an afterthought most days. Don’t get me wrong, I like some nice things but so much of the beauty and art that makes me really feel something just happens naturally out in the world without me having to even curate anything or spend money… sometimes the way the wind blows through the trees does something to me that cannot be described and is more powerful than any identity. I like your shirt btw
