The Black Panther Party was the greatest socialist party in American history. They fed thousands of kids daily before school across U.S cities, which later pushed the government to expand school breakfast programs. Gave grocieres to families in need, donated clothes to low income community members. They created real change inside communities attacking the core of the issue of capitalism. They filled gaps where the government failed its people. Which made them a huge target for the US, as seeing a strong socialist party make real change in people’s lives created a sense of urgency to get rid of the party. Leading to the assassination of 21 year old Fred Hampton and atleast a dozen other BPP members by police.
