I'm 50 with a MBA and work for a large company. We are asked to do training for Gemini, Google Vids, Notebook LM and more including Google certifications. The ability to make work quicker and have better output is incredible. I see it as even if I am laid off, I will have skills a lot of people don't have. And, I think its scary that recent college grads spent boatload of money and don't have the skills needed because their degree program didn't prepare them for this new industrial revolution. Better to understand the change than be scared of the change.

Isn’t it strange
to say we want to enter the kingdom of God
and spend eternity with Him one day,
but not want to spend time with Him now?

We say we want to go to heaven,
but today, we have no time for God.

We say we want to live with Him forever,
but right now, we do not even have time to listen to His word.

Do you remember Martha and Mary?

Martha was busy with many things.
She was worried and troubled about so much.
But Mary sat at the Lord’s feet
and quietly listened to His word.

The Lord Jesus did not say Martha’s work had no meaning.
But He did say that Mary had chosen the good part.
Isn’t that a reminder for us?

Many people are like that today.
Busy with life.
Busy with work.
Busy with family.
Busy with their own plans.
Even busy with things that look like they “should” be doing.

But after all that busyness,
their hearts become drier and drier.
They pray less.
They have less hunger for God’s word.
And their relationship with God grows more and more distant.
That is the most dangerous part.
It is not that you have no religious life.
It is that you have so many things to do,
but no time to draw close to God.

It is not that you do not know God is important.
It is that you always put Him last.
But if a person is not willing to listen to God’s word today,
will they truly desire to live with Him forever one day?

So ask yourself today:
Do I truly want to draw close to God,
or do I only want His blessings and the result of heaven?
Do I really have no time for God?
