@crimexpod: On May 22, 2026, authorities say four suspects — identified as 18-year-olds Ijanae McClendon and Saniya Douglas, along with two juvenile females ages 17 and 16 — carried out a series of organized retail thefts targeting two Bath & Body Works stores and one Ulta location in Sacramento County. According to investigators, the group entered the stores together, filled store baskets and bags with large amounts of merchandise, and left without paying. The estimated total loss was reported at more than $4,300. Deputies later located the suspects’ vehicle after receiving descriptions from the stores and conducted a search of the area. All four individuals were detained and later identified by Loss Prevention employees during a field identification process. McClendon and Douglas were booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges including Grand Theft, Conspiracy, and Organized Retail Theft.
