I feed mine twice only because one of them gets an upset stomach when eating the full daily amount at once

So Happy The Dogs I Had (St. bernard 15 & Labrador 14 1/2) got older than the major Dogs I know ... I still have an American Pocket Bull is 10 Now and still very Healthy and still act like a Pup ... My 2 Dogs I descibed were also good at weight their whole life ...

my dogs only eat their meal once a day. we dont free feed. did they get other foods ya .. not always . they eat better. in the wild they wouldn't eat every day.

So I have a five month old puppy that’s on royal Canin puppy food. It’s been many years since I’ve had a dog, but between my husband and I we’ve had dogs throughout our childhood and into our 40s. We’ve never had a dog get cancer so I’m wondering, what’s changed that has moved the needle to one in three?
