@forgoodpodcast_: Korey Wise had no idea who was walking toward him that day in prison. A man approached him, started a conversation, and kept asking questions about church. What Korey didn’t know was that this man was carrying a secret that would change everything. Shortly after, Matias Reyes would confess to the crime that sent Korey and the other young men to prison. This is one of the most unbelievable moments from Korey’s story. 🎙️ Watch our full conversation with Korey Wise on the For Good Podcast. #forgoodpodcast #koreywise #exoneratedfive #centralparkfive #justice
That money they got for the state wrongfully acussing is trash compared to the lives those young men lost, I wish I was their lawyer, their was not a strong fight for them, I also dont understand how the victim remembers everything that night even the time 5:00 time she received a call at work on the stand except for testifying that since she doesn't remember what happened why send those innocent boys to jail, and there was no evidence of them doing it,no DNA linked to them there was so many inconsistencies with the cops stories on the stand one says Kevin was crying the other said he wasnt they were not on one page cause they were all lies, lawyers brought attention to this at all.At some point in 14 years someone should have cleared these boys name, instead Korey was forced to become a grown man before his time sent to Rikers and several other prisons beatin almost to death at times wearing a rapist label. and to go on as a sex offender for the rest of their lives. All cops and detectives who coerced them in to incriminating themselves, lawyers and the Judge who handled that case should have gotten death penalty for taking those boys lives over and over. They will forever be traumatized by this.
