oh my god, dont date someone w/ a dog if u dont wanna take care of a dog. like, frankly, I dont want to deal w/ pets (allergic to cats, dogs, and APPERANTLY feathers (that last one is according to an allergy exam, but the others are from experience), so im also just not comfortable around other house animals as ive never been around them), so i simply WOULDN'T date someone w/ a pet. I do care abt animals, but i will also try not to get to close, lol

so what Tommy is saying is that he can hold his urine for 12 hours because he's patient? and it's just to do Number 1. I can maybe understand if he didn't want to scoop poop, but this would only be for less than 10 minutes. nta he needs to put Tommy out and keep the dog

I don't care who you are, if you are in my house when I am not home, (I guess with the exception of a home repair person or something) then I expect you to take the dog out when he has to pee.

Like Josh said my partner will give my cat food and water if needed but the litter is my problem 100% I fear a dog is a little harder … I wouldn’t wanna pick up poop if it did but that’s why I wouldn’t get into a relationship with somebody with a dog because no way I’d make the dog sit and hold it

When I was dating my now husband he asked if he could get a dog. I said I would help but I wasn’t the main caregiver. 5 years later, we are married and that is my baby. We also have another dog and a cat. I am in fact the main caregiver of all animals but that’s cuz he’s been increasingly ill. When he was healthy it was split. The first person home lets them out. It’s that simple
