to add onto number 1, me and my ld boyfriend use “how are you” as like an occasional check in to see how we are feeling in the moment and our “how was your day” is only asked ONCE a day, and our response is always an ENTIRE recap of everything we have done so far :) saying those things are okay, just make sure you spice up your responses to keep it alive!
