@nicolegoesplaces: My honest thoughts on the DMZ Tour from Seoul 🇰🇷 Before anyone comments, yes, I know the Korean DMZ is an active military zone and there are obvious reasons for restrictions. What surprised me was how different the experience felt compared to how it’s often presented online. A lot of videos make it seem like you’re getting an exclusive look into North Korea, but in reality most of what you see is through binoculars looking across the border. You can’t see everyday life in North Korea, or people at all and in many places you can’t photograph what you’re looking at. I’m still glad I did the DMZ tour and I’d recommend it as a day trip from Seoul. Just don’t go expecting the exclusive peek into North Korea that social media often makes it out to be. #DMZTour #SouthKoreaTravel #NorthKorea #SeoulDayTrip #KoreaTravel
