I always relaxed my skateboard shoes to be over for more of fashion but it always made more sense as a form of ‘lace hold’ on a shoe over it being from under because it always fell beneath itself. I like to just slip my shoes on and call it a day but I like that the pattern I preferred works more than under lacing. Just never done it on 12” logger boots. Always preferred the cowboy slip on boot style but it makes more sense for the work you perform.
