After I lost my 20 year old daughter, I struggled with the understanding of knowing God needed to bring her home, yet why. Why her. He knew how hard we fought.. and it was then my next prayer was to please, please do not take away my ability to love. My ability to feel. My ability to find the tiniest of blessings in our storms. To give me the will to chase the flickering of light.. and if I can’t, allow my heart the reflection of it. And I’ve held onto that, and I thank God everyday for that mercy, his mercy. So hold on.. just hold on, look for the flickering of light and chase it.. there’s still beauty in life to be discovered . 💕
