alright i gotta talk, first of all, althought edd originally planned for the 4 to be him and his friends after awhile and specifically after 2016 (rip) matt who kept the series going took it in another direction since they arent like their counter parts anymore, which is also why tord is back, so yes they are fictional characters in any sense, and even thought i am a die hard fan of tom tord, despite its mischaracterization, the 2026 version goes along perfectly with the canon timeline without over sexualizing their relation unlike the OG porksoda

tordtom was how I found out about eddsworld back in 2020 and I watched ALL the episodes on YouTube so now it’s like rewatching everyone go through the same thing as me but in 2026 💔 just a heads up to any new fans that they BARELY interact and eddsworld is literally just shits and giggles no actual deep lore stuff 😭
