Growing up we had a cabinet like this above the refrigerator never once opened it I think it had some out of date appliances in it but even my frist apartment had one just like this I was there 2 years ago and never put anything in it

I am 4 ft 11 so I don't use those cabinets. And a ceiling fan in the kitchen is a good idea!
