The deadly incident happened in Winter Springs, Florida, when 20-year-old Zachary Kreusch took his mom's Porsche for a joyride with his friend, 20-year-old Dylan Astacio. The Crash: On May 16, 2023, while traveling on Brumley Road, Kreusch lost control of the Porsche, ran off the road, hit a tree, and rolled the car into a ditch. The Fire: The sports car subsequently burst into flames. While Kreusch escaped the burning vehicle, Astacio was trapped inside and died at the scene. [, 2] The Charges: In July 2024, Florida Highway Patrol troopers arrested Kreusch, who was 21 by the time of his arrest, and charged him with vehicular homicide.

That was his bestie. They were both wrong for going on the joyride. They both knew the risks. I would charge him with manslaughter and wreckless driving and likely just home arrest and probation and loss of license for life. He’s not a danger to society to be locked up on our tax dollars.

now that's how someone who fucked up and took a friends life reacts. I was at first shocked he doesn't have a scratch on him... and of course he should face charges... but when he said "wtf am i going to tell his parents?" - that's someone ready to take accountability.

the officer said he wasnt driving wreckless. how many of us as kids did dumb stuff and got lucky. i feel so bad for everyone involved, but him suffering is punishment enough. years in jail wont do anything.

Omg this poor kid. I've known him since kindergarten!!!!!!! Most of us have done wild stuff as kids and only got lucky we didn't accidentally kill someone. I hope he wins an appeal. Rapists should get this kind of time, not a young kid that didn't mean to kill his BEST FRIEND 😭

I watched the whole video on YouTube and this has to be one of the worst videos I watched everything about this , such a sad sad sad story, kids being kids and stole his moms car for a ride they didn’t think anything would happen, would you? No, that kid will never ever forgive himself I couldn’t live with myself, idk even know what to say, besides this was an accident, two kids wanting to have fun and lost control, I feel for everyone in this situation 😔

Some of yall don’t read. Friend was TRAPPED. As in, couldn’t move to get out. Then the car was an inferno. But you still think you could’ve saved him? Ok 🙄 Not to mention the fact, look at the guys reaction, he obviously didn’t do nothing. He’s completely distraught. I’m sure he tried to help him. This is a terrible trauma he’ll have to live with the rest of his life
