If you use wooden utensils Do not put them in the dishwasher. They will crack they have to be hand washed.

Are they one piece, labeled food-safe, untreated, or finished only with food-grade mineral oil/beeswax, free from painted surfaces, mystery coatings, stains, or heavy varnish??

teak contains oil. Water & heat will dry out the wood! Only way to make it last is to keep it oiled.

And Teakwood is grown in tropical areas where rainforest have been slashed and burned. Not advocating for plastics but there are other sustainable woods that are a better choice.
