@davieunderwater: I have to give credit where credit is due. After seeing Ben The Critic’s review of Mema’s Chicken & Ribs, I decided to go try it for myself. Honestly, I’m glad I did. Not only was the food great, but the people were some of the warmest and kindest I’ve met. They took the time to give me a tour, share the history of the restaurant, and explain the care that goes into everything they do. You can tell they pay attention to the details, from the ingredients they source to the way they prepare the food. The cornbread was absolutely delicious, and the brisket was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. One thing that really stood out to me was how much they care about the Wilmington community and the people they serve every day. So while I may disagree with Ben The Critic’s review, I actually want to thank him. Without that video, I probably never would’ve discovered Mema’s, and now it’s a place I’m genuinely happy I got to experience.
