weighloss gives way to not only losing the physical weight also losing the weight you've carried emotionally and mentally. there are alot of things we kept carrying and accepting bcs of the physical weight. standards were low, self worth low, self concept low, self respect low, boundaries low.
starting on the journey is you going against all that— its betting on yourself, its improving self concept, -belief, -confidence, -trust, -accountability..., its putting an end to excuses settling and starting to set standards and boundaries, its letting go of tolerating things, its choosing yourself, its knowing your worth— living accordingly, and not negotiating with it, its rejecting everything that doesnt align with your self concept and worth and accepting only what does.
