I hate hearing young adults say bad stuff about their parents. Most parents would do anything for their children. Kids have no idea of the challenges their parents had to overcome just to provide shelter and food for them. Maybe your parents weren’t perfect. Cut them some slack.

The whole concept is to achieve more than your parents not just financially but spiritually, every generation has greater opportunities than the last one, your parents did what they could with what they had and so did their parents but you don’t want to say you don’t want to be like them, they are the reason you are here

So sad - someday you will realize that your parents are the ones that loved you more deeply than anyone else ever will. Not all parents are perfect but they try hard to do everything they can to take care of their children- their love is unconditional.
