A North Carolina woman was kidnapped by a man posing as a law enforcement officer. __________________ According to reports, truck driver Anthony Moore was traveling along a road around 7 a.m. Friday when he saw a young woman run into traffic. Moore said the woman eventually made it to his truck and began pleading for help. __________________ Then 39-year-old Jonathan Willard approached and allegedly claimed to be law enforcement while attempting to assert control over the situation. That’s when the woman jumped in Moore’s truck and said: “No he is not. He tried to kidnap me, sir.” __________________ Willard eventually left the scene. __________________ The woman told Moore that earlier that morning she was walking to her parent’s house when Willard approached her, claimed to be law enforcement, handcuffed her, and placed her in the backseat of his car. __________________ Willard then drove her away and stopped on a rural road to grab something from his trunk. That’s when the woman managed to escape the vehicle, run into traffic, and meet Moore, who called police. __________________ Willard was later arrested and charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer and kidnapping. 🎥: @wrdw_wagt
