ughhh it's so depressing. and the fact that it literally takes 10 minutes to have a deeper conversation to get rid of the ignorance and be more willing to help is even more sad. And what's more depressing is that we are literally conditioned to be like this. Our schedules and how society is. Literally designed to make ppl feel drained and numb. And the MOST depressing part is that ppl will never truly care until it's too late.

At some point I stop blaming conditioning, and assume ppl are js content with being ignorant. Its easier not to care. Unfortunately Im the kind of person that js cant bring myself to not care. Especially after learning the severity of these situations. I believe the world truly could change, if everyone just cared more and started acting rather than waiting.

I feel like community and helping others around you has been slowly squeezed out of a lot of our lives. One of my friends is going through a tough time with something, I tried to get my other friends to do something to help with me and they just didn’t care. Maybe its the select few that I’m around but I fear this is the same with my family. Its superrr disheartening

"But that doesn't mean you stop trying" you saying that after everything was honestly so inspiring. It's so easy to feel weighed down and hopeless when you don't have immediate support for something but hearing you say that out loud like a mantra made me rethink how I want to act after seeing this. Real change was/is never easy and we'll have to train our instant-gratification addicted brains to want to do hard things again. I believe people still care but they need a reminder to do something about it and this was that for me today. Seriously, pls keep trying because watching this makes me want to keep trying. ❤️
