Yep, you hit it on the nail. I put both my girls in swimming. They swim in club junior high high school all the kids had the same goals. They were always in the water. We were always at a tournament. They were always tired cause they swam too much in the morning at five and in the evening after school for a couple hours, swimming was the bomb it was for my kids to find the right friends. Yes, you have to find the right friends.🙏💪🌹

What about friendships that are due to forced proximity? Small schools can often mean friendships with people only because they are the only ones there.
