Mix the cheese with the beans so you have one filing, then mix the meat with the cheese as well, and have cheese separately if you want just cheese pupusas. Coat your hands lightly with oil as you make them, try not to have too much masa for the pupusa nor too much or little filling, they seemed a bit thick from too much masa. Try also pressing down as they are cooking on the skillet just to flatten them a little bit! Good job on your first try tho!! Super delicious, next try to make the curtió (pickled cabbage) and the red tomato salsa (not spicy at all!)
