I had the talk so many times, changed how I said it. Anyway I could to get him to understand it. I even asked ChatGPT to help me reword it before thinking my words were the problem. I’ve said it angry. I’ve said it while sad, while crying in front of him. Nothing changed besides me waking up, it was his choice and now he will have the life he wanted. No more lies, no more betrayal, no more being fake. He will have his peace.
