Vet tech here pls be careful switching or mixing cat food! It should be done gradually. Switching food can cause GI upset and vomiting/diarrhea

Otto Warmbier: The American Student Who Never Came Home In December 2015, 21-year-old American college student Otto Warmbier traveled to North Korea as part of a guided tour. During his visit, he was accused by the North Korean government of attempting to steal a propaganda poster from his hotel. North Korean authorities arrested him at the airport just before he was scheduled to leave the country. In March 2016, Otto was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor after a televised trial that lasted less than an hour. During the trial, he made a tearful confession that many observers believed was forced under extreme pressure. For more than a year, Otto remained imprisoned in North Korea. In June 2017, North Korean officials informed U.S. diplomats that he had fallen into a coma after allegedly suffering from botulism and taking a sleeping pill. He was released and flown back to the United States after negotiations involving the U.S. government. When Otto arrived home, doctors discovered that he had suffered a severe neurological injury. He was unable to speak, see, or respond normally, and his family said he appeared to have experienced significant trauma while in North Korean custody. North Korea claimed it had treated him humanely, but U.S. doctors found evidence inconsistent with that claim. Just six days after returning home, Otto Warmbier died on June 19, 2017, at the age of 22. His death sparked international outrage and increased scrutiny of North Korea’s treatment of foreign detainees. The U.S. government later banned Americans from traveling to North Korea, citing the risks of arbitrary detention and severe punishment. The case remains one of the most high-profile examples of the dangers faced by foreign visitors inside North Korea’s secretive regime. #northkorea #korea #crime #crimestory #fypシ
