So y’all are showing your ages in these comments SO BAD. GHB is regularly used and has been used in the queer community for a longgggg time. It’s used in small doses for a euphoric feeling - not to fully sedate. I fear the general public is not going to have the empathy and knowledge needed to empathize with Cara.

She was abusing an upper and then abusing a downer to balance out the upper. Some people drink some people take a sedative. Addiction is hell on earth. I am so happy she is sober. The addict mind cannot comprehend the peace sobriety brings bc you are in a loop of up and down.

She’s def right about the type of drugs that addicts choose. People who use opiates and other downer (knock out) drugs are in PAIN and the brain can’t differentiate physical vs emotional pain. I say this from experience.
