@carsnocap: One loose bolt turned a simple suspension squeak into a very dangerous situation. After having the lift installed on my 4Runner, I started hearing a squeak from the suspension. I took it back to the shop, where they loosened and re-torqued the suspension to try to correct it. Somewhere in that process, the upper control arm bolt was missed. Later, that bolt worked itself loose and eventually came out completely. I’m extremely thankful it did not happen at a worse time or cause a serious accident. Two lessons from this: 1. Any time suspension work is done, double-check the bolts afterward — especially after a few miles of driving. 2. If your lifted truck develops a squeak, it may be because suspension components were tightened while the vehicle was hanging on the lift instead of at normal ride height. I’m not sharing this to bash a shop. I’m sharing it because one missed bolt can turn into a situation much bigger than an annoying squeak. Check your work. Check their work. Get home safe. #4Runner #Toyota4Runner #Lifted4Runner #4RunnerBuild #OffRoadBuild
My tire almost fell off on the highway after getting my tires rotated last year and recently a plumber didn’t install a toilet correctly and cause a leak through my kitchen ceiling which cost way more to repair. Why is it so hard to find reliable help?

I called 4 shops for labor pricing and no one called me back, so I took it upon myself to do it myself
