@jennyjeanfitness_ifbbpro: There is a very specific kind of exhaustion that comes with being fiercely independent. It’s not that I can’t do it. I’ve always done things on my own. But when you have a house, and you’re doing it entirely by yourself, the sheer volume of tasks can be overwhelming. This weekend I rented a sub pump to drain my pool. I bought a power washer for the bricks. I made three separate trips to haul patio furniture because I don’t have a truck, and I built it all myself. It was exhausting. But sitting on that clean deck afterward? Best feeling in the world. I’m not looking for anyone right now. But the bar is officially set at: “Must be able to do more around the house than I can.” And honestly, that’s a pretty high bar.
