✨Bible speaking on just a few female prophets:
Deborah, approximately 1200 BCE. Judges 4 and 5. She was a prophetess and a judge over all of Israel. Over all of Israel. Men came to her for judgment. When the general Barak was called to war, he refused to go unless Deborah went with him. She went. She led. God gave the victory on her watch.
Huldah, approximately 621 BCE. 2 Kings 22:14. When King Josiah needed the word of God interpreted, he did not send to a male prophet. He sent his priests and royal officials to Huldah. She was a prophetess living in Jerusalem, and her word shaped the spiritual direction of an entire nation.
Anna, first century. Luke 2:36-38. She was a prophetess who lived in the temple, fasting and praying day and night. When the baby Yeshua was brought in, she recognized Him and immediately began proclaiming Him publicly to everyone who was waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem. She was the first woman to publicly declare the Messiah.
This is not about wanting to dominate men, but about defending our right to carry a message that you say we are unfit to carry because of our gender. But God has settled the matter when He said "I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy." Joel 2:28.
**You know the biblical formula for establishing the truth is 2 or more witnesses/Bible verses. I have 25 that tell me women belong in the pulpit too.🙂
