@it1924us: I've been wanting to animate this for a while. did it over the last few days, I hope it hits you the same way it did me when I first read it. There's something so comforting about this memory, even if it's not one we've directly experienced. It's like a universal feeling of safety, what a gift. And then I think of it in the context of today... and a part of me feels wrecked. What a blessing my children are sound asleep. I hope when I die, they'll know I was just like them, and they'll always be like they are to me.
