@thewoolcatcher: How to add a magnetic snap to a raffia bag 🧶✨ I crocheted my bag to the desired height using single crochet stitches. Next, I worked one round of single crochet stitches into the back loops only. This creates a natural fold line for the top edge of the bag. Then I continued crocheting a few more rounds of regular single crochet stitches. After that, I folded the fabric to the inside of the bag, inserted and secured both parts of the magnetic snap, and stitched the folded edge in place using raffia yarn. And that’s it! A neat and secure magnetic closure for your raffia bag. ✨ Want to learn how to make a sturdy double-layered bag bottom?
