HOA’s are a pyramid scam. The city already has ordinances about keeping properties neat and orderly, and I already pay taxes to them. HOA’s do nothing but harass and bully people. If someone’s property is becoming an eyesore, call the city and have the ordinance enforced. A private entity shouldn’t be able to threaten a homeowner

Most HOAs require doors to be closed. If left open for more than 20 min and it's see or reported, it's a fine. That's how it was for the last 2 I lived in. But I'll never make that mistake again.
