a vet bill even for just a check up is probably going to cost more than the week. i would give quarter pay and forward any vet bills to BIL since he’s so adamantly on her side.

When I pet sit, I’m giving extra cuddles and treats to whoever’s fur baby I’m with and sending pics to the owners. I’ll be there for at least an hour hanging with the cat or dog.

I walk my cat daily and he really really likes the walks, however, I would never ask a pet sitter to provide him with lots. I would simply say that he wasn’t allowed outside unless it was on the screened in patio.

I have a metal screened porch specifically for my cats and I still wouldn’t let them out there if I had a migraine because it’s very hard to remember things when you have a migraine

I’m allergic to cats but still went over to my ex‘s house for a week straight two times a day to feed water and clean up after his cat while he took our daughter to Disney World. That cat came back in perfect condition.

I pet sit my mates dogs. one of them i walk. the other mates dogs i dont walk because their owner prefers if I dont. (high energy dog and although I walk him with her often she doesn't like the idea of him getting loose and her not being close by to deal with him) although I dont charge them but I follow owners instructions because they are their owner not me x
