After season 5 finale we got to know that V1 actually didn’t give Homelander any amps. It only gave him immunity to the virus + stopped his aging. His stats and powers remained the same. We also got a new direct inverse: Soldier Boy > Bombsight > Homelander (Bombsight has shown a superior performance against Butcher who had no amps between eps 6 and 8). Not even gonna talk about the arg of Homelander somehow being weakened by V1. This is just a completely baseless theory made up by Homelander fans as an excuse for his bad performance against Butcher. In actuality it just upscales parasite Butcher, who’s likely top 4 in the verse now.
