@ub1ub2media: 18-year-old student Henry Nowak was murdered in Southampton in December 2025. His killer, Vickrum Digwa, 23, was convicted and jailed for life. The case has drawn national attention, both for the killing and for the police response. After Digwa’s family falsely claimed they had been racially attacked, officers handcuffed Henry as he lay dying, telling him they did not believe he had been stabbed. Hampshire Police have apologised and referred themselves to the IOPC. The footage was released by the Crown Prosecution Service with the family’s consent. The court also confirmed the weapon was not a kirpan. Digwa killed Henry with a separate, larger knife.
