According to the minister, Africa can achieve similar influence if countries act collectively, leveraging the continent's large population and growing digital market to negotiate better outcomes with global technology companies. He urged African governments and lawmakers to pursue coordinated policies that protect citizens' data, uphold local values and strengthen the continent's bargaining power in the digital economy.
