Most of the elderly people here are suffering from mental health conditions. I have personally visited this place and spoken with some of these mothers and fathers. Managing and caring for people with mental illnesses is not an easy task. Loku Ayya the person running the place is doing something that many others would not be willing or able to do. There may be legal, registration, and regulatory issues involved, but at a fundamental level, what they are doing is bringing these people in and looking after them.
