No such thing as a free market anymore just market manipulation by key players.

but you said borrowing against the gold would be stupid, but then you said that the ESF you could borrow against the value of the gold on their balance sheets, how is it any different than what you said was stupid about borrowing against the gold.....

How is it revalued? Do they say there’s more there than they currently say there is, or say it’s purer or whatever and so becomes worth more.

The debt simply represents the amount of money, currently circulating of the economy. It’s not something that needs to be repaid.

Jeff, it has to be revalued at a much higher amount and not sold off. It changes the debt to GDP ratio. Take that same revalued gold and back it to long term US bonds, per Judy Shelton.

The gold at Fort Knox is trash gold , it’s at 90 % purity and can’t be used to trade , it’s why Europes sold its gold in Fort Knox and bought pure 99.9 % gold instead

Great Insight. Thank you for sharing. Adding to this. If they do this and the price on imports go up, that could also be an argument to ‘make in America’… Make America great again! Domestic manufacturing costs will go up as well, but expectedly less than imports…
