Walking through Alfama on a rainy day feels like stepping into another version of the city, where the cobblestones glisten, the tiled walls look richer in colour, and every narrow turn carries the echo of the past.🙌🏽😍 The climb past Sé Cathedral, the quiet charm around São Vicente de Fora, and the views opening up near Miradouro de Santa Luzia and Miradouro das Portas do Sol all feel even more atmospheric under the soft drizzle, with the rooftops fading gently into the mist.🏛️❤️ Down in Baixa Chiado the streets buzz with their usual rhythm, trams hum their way through wet tracks, and the classic yellow cars look even more iconic against the moody sky.🚋 The reflections on the pavements around Praça do Comércio create a completely new perspective, as if the city paints its own version of golden hour without any sunlight. Even the hills feel different, the viewpoints offering a layered panorama of pastel buildings, church towers, and distant river views wrapped in a calm grey glow.❤️ For this video I used a Lisbon metro sound edit, mixing the hum of the trains with the announcements that echo through the underground.
