Simple piece to remember when designing a circuit. B type is 5x the nominal current, C is 10x and D is 20x. If you’re designing, you want your fault current on a c16 to be at least 160A to trip in .1s

A 3-amp circuit breaker is designed to trip when the current draw exceeds its continuous rating, but how fast it trips depends on the severity of the overload!!
