@slickphillipsart: I spent over 10 years drawing before I even started tattooing. I definitely would not change this. I learned a tattoo while I was in prison so I didn’t have the option of a formal apprenticeship. With all the resources out there today I would practice the fundamentals of drawing and composition. When you become a full on Tattoo or it is hard to find time to sit down and draw and hone your craft. Look at your beginning as an invest investment in your future. The college you get to go to is the college of your choice. Choose to go to Harvard over the community college down the street. #blackandgreytattoo #realismtattoo #apprentice
