@itsmrskelly: Time to be real with yall! Im in the middle of one of the biggest changes of our brands history. It is so exciting but at the same time so stressful. I feel like everything ive done and gone through in my life to this point has been preparing me for what’s coming. And Mr Skelly and you all have been a huge part of that. I started this brand when I was 17 years old. I’m 34 now. Half of my entire life has been dedicated to 1924us and the simple concept: to make this world feel more like home. Over the last three years as I’ve found myself at home in Tasmania I have been hard at work trying to secure a new home for ourselves and brand spot for 1924. As we’re nearing that stage, we’re taking on so much more responsibility and the reality check: the way things get done is by doing them. We think we need someone to come down and hand us these opportunities but the truth is, if you have the tools you can do almost anything. And right now I’m thinking a feature length film is on the not so distant horizon. It’s weird even saying that out loud because I always think these things take impossible to achieve levels of finance or hierarchy but it’s becoming increasingly clear it’s within reach. So now I am struck with, constantly everyday, is what I have to say, worth the way I am going to say it? I pray so. And if I can ask, for the collective good vibes, prayers, thoughts whatever yall do, for this next stage in our lives, it would be so deeply appreciated. I really, truly, deeply with all my heart, just want to make art that people can feel warmer with. It is my calling on this earth because it’s so deeply embedded in my heart. I have never taken a dollar of outside funding, advertising, or direction. Everything is straight from my, and my teams, human heart. Thank you so much for helping to see it realized.
