‏Surah Ar-Rahman (Verses 10–16) ‏Verse 10 ﴿وَالْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ﴾ ‏Translation: And the earth He has laid out and prepared for all creation. ‏Tafsir (Al-Mukhtasar/Al-Muyassar): He flattened and prepared the earth so that creation could settle upon it. ‏Verse 11 ﴿فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْأَكْمَامِ﴾ ‏Translation: Therein are fruits and date palms with protective sheaths, ‏Tafsir: In it are delicious fruits, and date palms bearing spathes/containers from which the dates emerge. ‏Verse 12 ﴿وَالْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُ﴾ ‏Translation: And grain with husk, and scented plants. ‏Tafsir: And in it are grains with outer husks—serving as sustenance for you and your livestock—as well as sweet-smelling vegetation. ‏Verse 13 ﴿فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴾ ‏Translation: So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? ‏Tafsir: Which of your Lord's religious and worldly favors—O assembly of jinn and mankind—do you deny? The jinn gave a noble response when the Prophet ﷺ recited this surah to them; whenever he reached this verse, they replied:

Likewise, a servant should acknowledge, praise, and thank Allah whenever His blessings are recited. ‏Verse 14 ﴿خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ﴾ ‏Translation: He created man from dry clay like pottery, ‏Tafsir: He created the father of mankind, Adam, from dry, sounding clay that resembles baked pottery. ‏Verse 15 ﴿وَخَلَقَ الْجَانَّ مِنْ مَارِجٍ مِنْ نَارٍ﴾ ‏Translation: And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire. ‏Tafsir: And He created Iblis (the father of the jinn) from a blend of pure, smokeless fire. ‏Verse 16 ﴿فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴾ ‏Translation: So which of the favors of your Lord will you both deny? ‏Tafsir: Which of your Lord's favors—O assembly of mankind and jinn—do you deny? #قرآن #quran
