So another thing, something I like to do is create a long, LONG itemized list of every item I’m bringing. I’m talking every shirt, pair of pants, makeup item etc! I use google docs checkboxes and I create it a month out from move in, and use that to prepack 4-5 times until i’ve got a specific place for everything and make sure ik where everything is and can fit all the stuff I want. This makes move in 100x smoother for me!

something to remember is if ur the kind of person who doesn’t do dishes frequently and feels taxed by doing it, don’t get dish ware! paper/plastic will more than likely be ur best friend. also, ice machines and brita’s really depend on where you’re going. some dorm halls provide recreational areas with things like ice machines and filtered water dispensers! don’t waste money on smth u may not need. as for shower caddies, don’t get a mesh one. they mold easily. get a plastic one. tv’s are not as useful to have as you’d think. you will most likely watch everyone on ur phone, laptop, or ipad. don’t waste money on a tv that could take up too much space! really think things through before buying them!!
