@jord.and.company: This giant bubble activity is STEM because my students are: S = exploring SCIENCE through surface tension, air flow, and how bubbles form and react. T = using “TECHNOLOGY” by understanding how the tool itself(the hula hoop)helps create and shape the bubble. E = using ENGINEERING and problem solving skills by testing ways to make the bubble taller and stronger without it popping. M = experiencing MATH concepts by introducing early measurement vocabulary like taller, shorter, bigger, smaller, highest, and widest while comparing bubble sizes.
